Marie L’Hermite advises and supports companies in projects involving emerging technologies (blockchain and AI) and impact-driven initiatives (ethics and compliance).
With over 12 years of international experience in senior legal positions across the telecommunications, energy, and Web3 industries, Marie L’Hermite co-leads the Emerging Technologies (blockchain and AI) and Impact Projects (ethics and compliance) practice within the Innovations – IP – IT – Data Protection team at the firm.
Marie has an extensive training in decentralized technologies and substantial experience in Web3 projects, including blockchain, cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and metaverses, as well as governance/DAOs, crypto compliance, and personal data protection. She provides strategic guidance to companies in the design, implementation, and development of innovation-related projects.
Drawing on her corporate experience, Marie adopts a pragmatic, 360-degree approach to business law, enabling her to offer operationally focused solutions to clients of the Innovations – IP – IT – Data Protection team.
Expert in domestic and international arbitration law, Marie also provides technical expertise (Web3/blockchain) to counsel and arbitrators in arbitration disputes.
