As Partner, Axelle Zenati heads the “Litigation and Arbitration” department at GGV Avocats-Rechtsanwälte. 

As an expert in international cross-border litigation since more than 20 years, Axelle brings her experience working in both Franco-German and American law firms to develop effective litigation strategies for her clients. She also assists clients in complex negotiations, often requiring speaking English, French, and German simultaneously.

She also handles the negotiation and drafting of a wide variety of commercial contracts in English, German and French.

Her practice covers a wide range of sectors, including heavy industry, textiles, agri-food, e-commerce, healthcare & life sciences, and financial services companies.

Axelle acts both as counsel and arbitrator in arbitration proceedings before various arbitration centers, such as the ICC, DIS, CAIP, LAC, CEPANI, AFA, and AAA, etc., and in ad hoc arbitration proceedings. She also represents clients in actions for annulment or enforcement of foreign or domestic arbitral awards, especially before the CCIP-CA (International Chamber of the Paris Court of Appeal).

Axelle is a reference in private international law and is the Academic director of the International Program at the Paris Bar School (EFB).
