Caroline Simon heads the “Contract Law, Competition Law and Distribution Law” department at GGV. With almost 30 years of experience, she provides her clients with long-term support for all contract-related problems.

Caroline is known for her expertise in advising large international industrial groups. She masters all challenges related to anti-competitive practices and the specific constraints of distribution networks. Her pragmatic approach and her in-depth analysis of legal regulations enable her to anticipate risks and develop effective strategies.

She is convinced that a profound understanding of the client’s business is necessary to provide high-quality legal advice and adapts her recommendations to the specifics of the given economic sector. This applies particularly to areas that are subject to complex and demanding regulations.

Caroline is active in both counselling and litigation and offers tailor-made support to secure and defend her clients’ interests.

• Studied Franco-German law at Paris X – Nanterre
• Practice with ASA – Avocats Associés (Paris)
• Practice with the Paris law firm Fischer, Tandeau de Marsac Sur & Associés; development of the ‘Commercial contracts-French-German relations’ department
• Member of the DACH Europäische Anwaltsvereinigung, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Vertriebsrecht e.V., the Deutscher Anwaltsverein (DAV) and the Association des Juristes Français et Allemands (AJFA)
• Joined GGV in 2017
