Stéphanie Zaks leads GGV’s criminal and press law department. With a triple expertise in criminal law, press law, and labour law, she advises and represents a wide range of clients, including groups, small and medium-sized companies, public institutions, local authorities, associations, and individuals.

In criminal law, she advises on cases involving commercial criminal law, labour criminal law, public criminal law, and environmental criminal law, representing both defendants and victims in sensitive and complex contexts.

In press law, Stéphanie advises leading national media outlets (print, audiovisual, and online), publishing houses, digital platforms, as well as other businesses and individuals. She specialises in matters related to defamation and other press offenses, right of reply, image rights and privacy, de-referencing, digital right to be forgotten, advertising, counterfeiting, unfair competition, and disparagement.

In labour law, Stéphanie advises companies and senior executives on both strategic issues and litigation. She additionally has significant expertise in conducting internal investigations.

Stéphanie gained valuable experience at prestigious law firms before founding her own firm in 2011. Her expertise has been recognized in several leading legal rankings. She is a member of the scientific council of the Association des Avocats Praticiens du Droit de la Presse (AAPDP) and the legal committee of LICRA.
